ICANN Registrant Rights & Responsibilities

• You are entitled to accurate, accessible information about the fees charged for domain registration, renewal, restoration, and transfer, and any refund policies, before you incur them.
• You are entitled to a receipt following any purchase or transaction.
• You are entitled to review your domain’s WHOIS/RDDS registration data and to correct any inaccuracies.
• You are entitled to transfer your domain to another ICANN-accredited registrar under ICANN’s Transfer Policy, including the right to obtain an authorization (EPP/auth) code, generally after the applicable 60-day post-registration or post-transfer lock has elapsed.
• You are entitled to notice before your domain expires and an opportunity to renew it, consistent with ICANN’s Expired Registration Recovery Policy (ERRP) and WHOIS Data Reminder Policy (WDRP).
• You have the right to fair treatment under applicable consumer-protection law and to file a complaint with ICANN or your registrar if your rights are not honored.

• You must provide accurate, reliable contact details — registrant name, postal address, email address, and phone number — and promptly correct and update them for the duration of the registration.
• You must respond within fifteen (15) days to inquiries from the registrar concerning the accuracy of your contact details. Providing false WHOIS information, or failing to respond to accuracy inquiries, can be grounds for suspension or cancellation of your domain.
• You are responsible for reviewing and complying with your registration agreement, ICANN’s policies, and the registry policies for the TLD you register.
• You are responsible for renewing your domain on time. Domains that are not renewed may be suspended, deleted, or made available for re-registration by others; recovering an expired domain may incur additional fees.
• You must not use your domain in a way that infringes the rights of others or violates applicable law. Disputes over the registration or use of your domain may be subject to ICANN’s Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) and, where applicable, the Uniform Rapid Suspension (URS) system.

Registrant contact data is collected as required by ICANN and the applicable registry and is published in WHOIS/RDDS to the extent required by policy and law. Where WHOIS privacy/proxy protection is offered and enabled for your domain, your personal contact details may be masked in the public directory while remaining on file with the registrar. Enabling privacy protection does not relieve you of your obligation to provide accurate underlying registrant data.

Transfer requests are handled under ICANN’s Transfer Policy. Newly registered or recently transferred domains may be locked for up to 60 days. Renewal, redemption, and restoration are subject to registry deadlines and fees; you are responsible for acting before the applicable deadlines. Fees for registration, renewal, redemption, restoration, and transfer are disclosed at the time of purchase and in your account.
