Domain Registration Agreement
Effective date: July 21, 2026
This Domain Registration Agreement (this “Agreement”) governs domain name registration, renewal, transfer, and management services obtained through Armored Hosting, operated by Armored Gate LLC (“Armored Gate,” “we,” “us”). Armored Gate acts as a reseller; the registrar of record for domains registered through the Service is Key-Systems GmbH, an ICANN-accredited registrar (the “Registrar”). By submitting a domain registration order you agree to this Agreement, to the Registrar’s registration agreement and policies, and to all applicable ICANN and registry policies.
1. Registrant obligations and accurate data
You represent that the information you provide for each registration — including registrant name, organization, postal address, email, and phone number — is complete and accurate, and you agree to keep it current for the life of the registration and to respond within fifteen (15) days to any accuracy inquiry. Providing false contact information, or failing to correct or update it, is a material breach and may result in suspension or cancellation of the domain. Your rights and responsibilities as a registrant are summarized in the ICANN Registrant Rights & Responsibilities.
2. Fees, term, and renewal
Registration, renewal, redemption, restoration, and transfer fees are disclosed at the time of purchase and in your account. Registrations are for the term you select and are non-refundable once submitted to the registry, except as required by law or expressly stated. You are responsible for renewing your domain before it expires. If you do not renew, the domain may be suspended, enter a redemption/grace period (which may carry additional fees), be deleted, or be released for re-registration by others. Auto-renewal, if enabled, will attempt to charge your payment method before expiry; you may disable it in your account.
3. ICANN and registry policies
Every registration is subject to ICANN’s Consensus Policies and the policies of the applicable registry, including the Transfer Policy, the Expired Registration Recovery Policy (ERRP), the WHOIS Data Reminder Policy (WDRP), and the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP). You agree these policies may be modified from time to time and that such changes bind you upon their effective date.
4. WHOIS / RDDS and privacy
Registrant data is processed and published in WHOIS/RDDS to the extent required by ICANN, the applicable registry, and law. Where WHOIS privacy protection is offered and enabled, your personal details may be masked in the public directory while remaining on file with the Registrar. Enabling privacy does not relieve you of the obligation to provide accurate underlying data, and the Registrar may disclose masked data where required by law, policy, or to resolve a dispute.
5. Nameservers and DNS
Unless you specify otherwise, domains registered through the Service are set to Armored Gate’s nameservers (ns1.armoredgate.com / ns2.armoredgate.com) so the domain is ready to manage in your dashboard. You may change nameservers at any time. You are responsible for your DNS configuration and the content and use of services operated under your domain.
6. Transfers
You may transfer a domain to another ICANN-accredited registrar under the Transfer Policy. Newly registered or recently transferred domains may be locked for up to 60 days. To transfer out, unlock the domain and obtain the authorization (EPP/auth) code from your dashboard or by contacting us. We will not unreasonably withhold a valid transfer.
7. Suspension, cancellation, and disputes
We or the Registrar may suspend, cancel, transfer, or place a domain on hold to: comply with law, ICANN, registry, or court/UDRP determinations; correct a registration error; protect the integrity and stability of the Registrar, a registry, or the DNS; or address a material breach of this Agreement, including inaccurate registrant data or abusive use. Disputes over the registration or use of a domain are governed by the UDRP and, where applicable, URS; you agree to submit to those proceedings and to the jurisdictions specified therein.
8. Acceptable use
You must not register or use a domain in violation of the Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law, including for phishing, malware distribution, intellectual- property infringement, or other abusive activity. We may act on abuse reports sent to abuse@armoredgate.com.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Domain services are provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that any particular domain will be available or will register successfully, and registry acceptance is outside our control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of a domain registration is limited to the fees you paid for that registration. This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Agreement, changes, and contact
This Agreement incorporates our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and the Registrar’s registration agreement. We record your acceptance of this Agreement, along with the version, timestamp, and request IP, at checkout as consent evidence. We may update this Agreement; changes apply to registrations and renewals made after the update’s effective date. Questions: legal@armoredgate.com.
